Service Description

An advanced treatment that combines microneedling with regenerative exosome technology to stimulate hair follicles and repair the scalp. Your safety and confidence come first. Before booking, please read through the following information. What the procedure involves: Exosomes are stem cell-derived particles administered into the scalp via microneedling or injection to support cellular renewal and tissue repair. The treatment is designed to work at a cellular level to support the skin's natural regenerative processes. Potential risks and side effects: As with any treatment involving injections or microneedling, some temporary effects are common and expected. Most patients experience redness, mild swelling and sensitivity at the treatment site, which typically settles within 24-48 hours. Minor bruising and tenderness may also occur. Less commonly, patients may experience a temporary scalp irritation, infection or allergic and inflammatory reaction. As exosome therapy is a relatively newer treatment, the full range of long-term effects is still being studied and this will be discussed with you at consultation. As with any cosmetic treatment, results cannot be guaranteed. Contraindications: This treatment may not be suitable for everyone. It is generally not recommended for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding, have active scalp infections, have a history of keloid scarring, are immunocompromised, or have certain inflammatory conditions. A full medical history will be taken at your consultation to determine whether this treatment is appropriate for you. Recovery: Most patients find recovery straightforward. Redness and sensitivity typically settle within 24-48 hours. During this time it is important to avoid sun exposure, makeup, swimming and strenuous exercise. Results: May vary between individuals. Improvement may begin to become visible over several weeks and can continue to develop over a number of months. Maintenance sessions as recommended. The number of sessions best suited to you will be discussed at consultation. How long results last: Results vary between individuals. Improvement in hair density may begin to become visible over three to six months. Ongoing maintenance treatments are typically required to sustain results. This information is general in nature. A consultation with Dr Sadia Shaikh is required to assess your individual suitability, specific risks and expected outcomes.
